Set in a peaceful location, on the banks of the River Lochy, amidst stunning scenery, Moorfield House is a great place to stay and relax while you're on holiday.

Moorfield House is a spacious, six-bedroom, family home, with two letting bedrooms that was built in September 1999. The outlook from Moorfield is one that is quiet unique in the area as it offers one of the finest view points of Ben Nevis, Britain's highest mountain, Nevis Range and Loch Linnhe. Moorfield is also only a 5 minute walk from the Caledonian Canal and the famous Neptune Staircase, an engineering masterpiece build by Thomas Telford in 1822.

As well as the natural environment that surrounds Moorfield many of Fort William's main visitor attractions are within easy walking distance or a short drive away. Treasures of the Earth Crystal and Gemstone Exhibition and the Nevis Range Cable Car are a 10 minute drive away while the Dew of Ben Nevis Whisky Distillery is a 10 minute walk from the house.

Moorfield is also ideally located for getting out and touring round the Highlands. Sitting half a mile off the main A82 route you can travel north to Loch Ness and Inverness or south to Glencoe, Tyndrum and Oban. Or you can take the A830 route along the Road to the Isles for Mallaig, Knoydart and the Isle of Skye.
